About Me

Prof. Dr. Ali Fuat KARATAŞ graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1997 and completed his residency at the Orthopedics and Traumatology Clinic at Ankara Atatürk Education and Research Hospital in 2007, becoming an Orthopedic Specialist.

Between 2011 and 2013, he participated in a fellowship program at the Alfred I. duPont Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery Hospital at Thomas Jefferson University in the United States, working as a research fellow.

Between 2015 and 2018, he served as an assistant professor at the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology at Afyon Kocatepe University Faculty of Medicine, where he earned the title of associate professor. In 2018, he participated in the fellowship program at the Florida Paley Orthopedic and Spine Institute in the United States.

Between 2018 and 2022, he served as a faculty member at the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University Faculty of Medicine and worked at Ankara Bilkent City Hospital.

Dr. Ali Fuat KARATAŞ, who was awarded the title of Professor in 2021, currently works at the Private Pediatric Orthopedics Clinic in Çukurambar, Ankara. Prof. Dr. Ali Fuat KARATAŞ has served as an instructor, speaker, and session chair at numerous national and international scientific courses, congresses, and meetings. He has also served as a reviewer for national and international scientific publications. He is married with two children and has a good command of English.
